With a week of 28 degrees sunshine across England there was a great deal of excitement leading up to our Bude trip during the last weekend in September.
The trailer was packed and ready for the long road to Bude in the sunny south west. For some it was their first venture down to Cornwall, for others it was a happy return.
We ventured south in convoy with 8 young people and 10 adults to get the most of the Indian Summer. The weekend became action packed with great activities to keep us wanting more adventure. In one day alone we all got involved in hill walking, rock climbing, board surfing, kayak surfing, body boarding, body surfing and beach rugby.
All of our young people and adults enjoyed and experienced these activities together, bring collectively a feeling of team work to the group.
Everyone utilised the great opportunity to practice their kayaking skills. Great surf, sunny skies, hilarious antics and an energetic group of people made this Bude trip a very memorable one.
