We had our first Halloween Paddle at the end of October. 25 young people andstaff and volunteers had a monster time. We lit Chinese lanterns as we set
off, had a spooky paddle in the dark up to the island where we walked through the haunted forest and were scared by ghostly ghouls. Our rickety
rafts and boats managed to get back safely and everyone tucked into Rene’s Pumpkin Soup, Darrell’s Hotdogs, Helen’s marzipan fingers and Wendy’s spider cakes and enjoyed Patrick’s fireworks display!
